Catalonia.health operates through its board of directors, executive team and Internal Committees: active participation spaces made up of executives, entrepreneurs and specialists from the association's member companies and knowledge organisations.

The committees are far more than advisory bodies. They are where the people leading the sector share experiences, identify real needs and co-create the initiatives that the association then drives collectively. Governance that is built from within, by those who best understand the competitive challenges of the health business landscape.

GOAL

The figure of business development is one of the most present and necessary in companies and institutions of the health sector, focused on product development, regulatory, market access, relations with venture capital entities and other forms of financing, an international vision... The initiative of the Internal Business Development Committee is to generate information, training and positioning activities with the aim of disseminating knowledge, providing relevant training and consolidating the group's position in this field.

Among the priorities identified by the committee are supporting the internationalization of companies, facilitating market access in various destinations, promoting training and updating on regulation, encouraging domestic and foreign investment, boosting opportunities and identifying barriers to promoting industry in the Catalan health sector and, in a broader aspect, facilitate access to innovation for companies and institutions in the sector. The committee works in collaboration with other similar entities, both nationally and internationally, to establish alliances and joint work networks with other organizations that share related interests and objectives.
