On July 7, Tech Barcelona's headquarters hosted a new training capsule from I4KIDS, the pediatric innovation hub coordinated by Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, organized in collaboration with Catalonia.health. The HIPRA group, member of Catalonia.health, closed the 2025 financial year with a turnover of 516 million euros and a net profit of 53.9 million euros. The turnover represents an increase of 17% compared to the previous year and represents the highest annual turnover achieved by the group to date, consolidating its trajectory of growth and international expansion.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), member of Catalonia.health, celebrated on June 18 a new edition of the Innomed Awards, a day aimed at promoting biomedical innovation projects and strengthening the connection between research, the health system, entrepreneurship and investment. The event took place in the auditorium of the Josep Carreras Institute (IJC) on the Can Ruti Campus and brought together professionals from research, health, entrepreneurship and investment.

Catalonia.health member biotech company OneChain Immunotherapeutics has announced promising interim results from its ongoing clinical trial with OC-1, its CAR-T therapy, in patients with relapsed or refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T-ALL/T-LL), a rare and aggressive blood cancer that affects both children and adults. The data were presented on June 17 at the 2026 Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA).

The biotechnology company Gate2Brain, a member of Catalonia.health, has announced a strategic alliance with Shilpa Biocare Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Shilpa Medicare Limited, which includes an investment of 7 million euros and a 30.4% stake in the company.
