The packaging company Miton, a member of Catalonia.health, has obtained international B Corp certification, a recognition that distinguishes companies that meet the highest standards of sustainability, social responsibility, and transparency, and that use business as a force for positive impact on society and the environment.
The B Corp certification, awarded by the global organization B Lab, places Miton within a community of more than 8,000 companies worldwide that are working to promote a new business model, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and with a more inclusive and sustainable vision of the future.
Jordi Isanta, CEO of Miton, said: “Being part of the B Corp community is recognition of the work we have done and, at the same time, a challenge to continue innovating and improving in all areas: from inclusion and job quality to environmental sustainability and process innovation.”
