Barcelona, March 2026 – The IMPULS program, promoted by Catalonia.health with the support of ACCIÓ, has already kicked off, with the first two sessions completed and enthusiastic participation from the selected companies.
IMPULS was created to address a key challenge in the Catalan health ecosystem: supporting established companies in their scaling process. In a context where Catalonia exports more than 40% of Spain’s life sciences and health products and consistently records success stories—11 companies achieved successful exits last year—the program focuses on those companies that have already proven their viability and are ready to multiply their impact.
Eight pioneering companies in scalability
The first edition of IMPULS includes the participation of eight established companies from the health sector: Annion Consulting, Heecap, Nano1health, Nanomol Tech, OneChain Immunotherapeutics, Perdigó, Tecnologia Regenerativa Qrem, and Xenopat. All of them meet the program’s requirements and, above all, share the ambition to grow sustainably.
Hands-on training and expert mentoring
The program offers 27 hours of training divided into four key thematic modules: strategy and business growth, financing and business development, talent and leadership, and innovation and competitive differentiation. This training is complemented by 4–5 hours of personalized mentoring with experts who have successfully scaled health companies.
“IMPULS is not just theoretical training. It is an action-oriented program with direct learning from those who have already experienced the challenges of scaling,” says Roser Alba, program coordinator at Catalonia.health.
IMPULS represents the natural evolution of the Biomed ScaleUp and PROGRES programs, reinforcing Catalonia.health’s commitment to fostering both organic and inorganic growth among Catalan health companies.
