The AYRA project consortium, of which CATALONIA.HEALTH is part of, organises the presentation conference of this platform, as well as the first results of this phase of the project. The event will take place in the Auditorium Dr. Plaza at the Hospital San Juan de Dios in Barcelona on Tuesday 17 June 2025.

AYRA is an innovative platform for environmental monitoring of paediatric patients at home. It responds to the growing commitment to home hospitalization in children with acute illnesses. Its objective is to monitor the quality of outdoor and indoor air in homes and provide reliable, real-time data to healthcare professionals and families.

This conference will serve to present the project: why it was born, how it has been financed and developed, and what are its first results and next steps.

During the event, we will also meet the members of the consortium, formed by:

• BCD Foundation, an entity that supports Barcelona's Creative Economy and design, making the city a pole of attraction for creative talent and interdisciplinary innovation.
• CATALONIA.HEALTH, an entity that represents companies and institutions in the health and life sciences sector in Catalonia.
• Hospital Sant Joan de Deu, a monographic hospital for paediatrics
• Domestic Data Streamers, experts in data display and interactive narrative
• PUMBA, design studio specialized in user experience and digital products
• The Left Bit, with extensive experience in mobile application development, back-end and AI solutions.

At the end of the session there will be an open Q&A session for the audience and journalists.

• Representative of the Barcelona Creativity & Design Foundation (coordinating entity) will make a brief explanation of what the AEIs are and why they are important.
