CATALONIA.HEALTH, in collaboration with Hospital del Mar, organises the next Hospital Connection, “Unresolved clinical needs: the vision of Hospital del Mar. Find your chance!”. This event will take place on May 22 in the Josep Marull Room of the Hospital del Mar University Campus.

The conference aims to highlight several clinical needs identified at one of Catalonia's leading public hospitals across different therapeutic areas. Experts from the hospital will share their experiences and their insights regarding the key challenges and clinical needs that require the development of new technologies and collaborative solutions between hospitals and companies, ensuring that patients receive care as quickly as possible.

The Hospital del Mar is a benchmark in applied healthcare innovation, with a distinct model focused on identifying unmet clinical needs and developing impactful solutions. The hospital employs a participatory, bottom-up approach led by healthcare professionals and is organized through an Innovation Committee that channels, prioritizes, and supports various projects. It includes specialized technology units in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing, and Telecare, which facilitate the implementation of advanced solutions in clinical settings. With this strategy, Hospital del Mar establishes itself as a results-driven innovation model that aligns with the current and future challenges of the healthcare system.
