CATALONIA.HEALTH promoes the third edition of the Connection Day on Tuesday 29th April, at the World Trade Center Barcelona. The aim of the event is to continue to be a benchmark space for B2B connections in the health sector, where the more than 240 members of the CATALONIA.HEALTH community, as well as other companies and organisations in the ecosystem, can explore synergies and points of collaboration in the products, services and solutions they offer.

Share and make contacts
There will be an exhibitors' area where organisations can promote themselves and encourage connections and synergies with other attendees. Registration for the conference gives access to the partnering area, with a specific space for meetings. Take advantage of the fact that all actors in the health sector are present.

Parallel sessions
Throughout the day, the exhibition and networking area will be complemented by sessions presenting health business initiatives, a specialised job market and a collection of transfer experiences and cases of public-private collaboration.

Presentation of the Health Sector Investment Study 2024

In the context of the Connection Day, CATALONIA.HEALTH will officially present the Study on Investment in the Catalan Health Sector 2024, which the association is preparing jointly with the consultancy firm EY. The study, promoted by CATALONIA.HEALTH, compiles the main indicators and aims to provide an analysis of business investment in the sector. We will share the key figures of our study and the results of our research.

For: All kind of companies in the health sector (biotech, medtech, pharma, digitalhealth and services), as well as knowledge generators who want to valorise their technology and/or innovation.

General access and B2B partnering:

All registered individuals and organisations will be able to access the B2B partnering. When you confirm your registration for Connection Day 2025, you will receive an email link to register on the meeting management platform. There you will find the companies, schedule and spaces available to organise the meetings.

Join as an exhibitor:

The stand will be the same for all organisations and will consist of simple furniture for all types of organisations (a high table and two stools). Each organisation will bring its own roll-up, or similar, to make its brand visible (recommended dimensions 1m x 2m).

CATALONIA.HEALTH member companies that so wish can access a double exhibition space by selecting the price on the registration form.

The price of the exhibition space includes the entrance fee for one person, which gives access to the B2B partnering, all activities and sessions, and catering services.

All companies and/or organisations participating as exhibitors will be included in the guestbook of the event.

Participate in the Investment Forum: 

Do you want to boost your startup? Looking for new investors? Participate in the pitch and investment forum as part of Connection Day 2025. Organised by CATALONIA.HEALTH, together with ACCIÓ.

Format:

• Presentations of 10 startups (no competition) - 3 minutes/pitch.
• Startups from the health sector (pharma, medtech, biotech, digital health, services) in Catalonia can present themselves
• with 10 or less years of existence.

Phases:

• Selection of startups: will be conducted through an external selection committee with agents from the ecosystem.
• ACCIÓ professionals will advise on the preparation of the pitch that will take place during the Connection Day (29 April).

How to apply:

You will need to send a business plan (in PPT) or deck, containing at least the following information: purpose, problem, solution, technology, competence, business model, founding team, past and future goals, financial projections, information about the round.

Job Market Place:

If you want to meet professionals from the biomedicine and health sector to incorporate them into your organisation, we invite you to participate in the Job Marketplace that Barcelona Activa and IQS are organising in collaboration with CATALONIA.HEALTH as part of the Connection Day.

It will take place in the afternoon (from 15h to 18:30h), where you will find the professionals (pre-selected by Barcelona Activa and IQS) suitable to your needs.

Barcelona Activa will publish the professional profiles you are interested in meeting and will pre-select the CVs that best meet your needs. The interviews of the finalists will take place on the same day of the event at the Job MarketPlace space during Connection Day at the World Trade Center Barcelona.
