TEDxUABarcelona will be a space for disseminating talent around the Innovative Mindset theme in the sphere of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The event will have 9 speakers who will talk  about different developments and proposals at the level of technology, design, education and science.

Among the speakers, Joaquim Vives Armengol, f from the Blood and Tissue Bank, will talk about how advanced therapies are a new category of living drugs comprising gene, cell and tissue-based medicines addressing unmet clinical needs. Access to donated cells and tissues is essential for the manufacture of this type of innovative personalised treatments.
