The PLUGIN Smart-Health project aims to improve the competitiveness of CataloniaBio & HealthTech members by promoting digitalisation, innovation and sustainability in their processes, products and services through an open innovation process. The programme will be presented online on Thursday 23 March in a session entitled "Innovative digital transformation in health companies", together with the Smartech Cluster. 

This session will present the objective of the project and will detail the duration, as well as the actions being carried out so that the companies attending acquire the skills to detect innovative challenges that impact their businesses, and co-develop effective solutions through the use of enabling technologies applied to the industry. Subsequent working groups working on these challenges to arrive at solutions can only be formed by members of CatalonaiBio & HealthTech and the Smartech Cluster.

About the PLUGIN project
Opening the doors to open innovation can generate very interesting benefits both for the company itself, which can optimise processes and improve competitiveness, and develop new lines of business that would not have emerged in a closed innovation ecosystem, and for society, as it generates workflows and collaborations that are beneficial for the whole of Catalonia's environment.

In this project we will follow an open innovation process, working with expert members of SmartechCluster (Cluster of Smart Technologies for Cities, Buildings and Industry), to detect specific challenges and needs of CataloniaBio & HealthTech members, seeking solutions through the implementation of advanced digitisation projects with the enabling technologies of Industry 4.0.
