More and more companies in the biomedical and healthcare sectors are committed to ongoing improvement of management and R&D processes for drugs and medical devices, the productive system and the services they offer their clients. The goal is the same: to get rid of activities that don't add value and strive for excellence to grow the company. In order to do so, many are using the Lean methodology, which got its start at Toyota but has been adapted to the needs and particularities of our sector.
What is Lean methodology? What impact will it have? What does my company need to be able to implement it? Apart from production, what other areas can it be used in? What difficulties may I come up against? Join the upcoming Lessons Learned session on 24 October at the Barcelona Science Park (Torre I, planta -1, sala 3) and hear first-hand about the experience of four pioneering companies in Catalonia in applying these methods to their management in a dynamic, participative debate with the whole audience.
