Catalonia.health has established a collaboration with EY and the NextHealth life sciences innovation conference series. These sessions aim to explore the present and future of business transformation. This third session will focus on the future Pharmaceutical Law in Spain, providing a space for debate to analyse the regulatory challenges and strategic opportunities that will define the future of our sector.

Session objectives

In a context of profound scientific, regulatory and geopolitical transformations, the new Pharmaceutical Law seeks to offer a clearer and more predictable framework for the entire lifecycle of medicines. This session will:

• Analyse the regulatory changes that will affect research, development, evaluation, funding and distribution of medicines
• Explore key issues such as price and therapeutic value, early access to innovation, supply security and the role of generics and biosimilars
• Debate concrete solutions to improve health outcomes, drive responsible innovation and strengthen the country's strategic autonomy
• Facilitate dialogue between the Administration, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals and sector experts
