Catalonia has always been known for its dynamic nature and great capacity for growth and entrepreneurship, and this is precisely what stands out among the current panorama of companies that make up the biomedicine sector.

CataloniaBio, in collaboration with EY, has compiled the first study to analyse investment made in the sector in 2016. This is one of the key aspects driving progress in our companies and taking the cutting-edge research and innovation being done in pharma and medtech companies to patients around the world.

The presentation of the 2017 Study on investment in biomedicine in Catalonia: Successes and challenges for the future will be led by Ignasi Biosca, president of CataloniaBio and CEO of Reig Jofre, and Silvia Ondategui, partner and head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences department at EY.
