The 23rd Barcelona Healthcare Investment Forum organised by the Barcelona Medical Association (COMB), Esade BAN, Barcelona Activa-Barcelona City Council and Biocat, with collaboration from CataloniaBio & HealthTech and other organisations from the sector, will be held on 15 November in Barcelona. There will be 10 pitches to an audience of healthcare investors from companies including Pharmacelera and a spin-off of Spherium Biomed.

The event will kick off with a welcome by Lluís Pareras, COMB director of Innovation and director of Healthequity; Fernando Zallo, director of Esade BAN; Jaume Baró, director of Business Services at Barcelona Activa; and Jordi Naval, CEO of Biocat.

This year, there will also be a presentation on the Peptomyc success story by co-founder and CEO Laura Soucek, who has recently won the EIT Health Woman Leadership and Entrepreneurship Award.
