On 16 and 17 September, Barcelona brought together professionals from Europe and the United States for the first HYBRIDGE Annual Conference, a global community that connects science, business, regulation and innovation in the hybrid and 505(b)(2) ecosystem.

The event was organised by ANNION, a Catalonia.health member, with the participation of Nanomol and Perdigó, also members. The collaboration emerged from IMPULS, the growth programme for companies that Catalonia.health ran in 2026.

Over two days, participants explored the opportunities and challenges of value-added medicines (VAMs) and 505(b)(2) products, covering innovation and technology, regulatory strategy, clinical development, business development, intellectual property and market access. Beyond the sessions, the conference also offered a space for conversations and new professional connections.

The 2027 edition is already in preparation. Dates, venue and registration will be announced soon.
