The AYRA project consortium, of which Catalonia.health is a part, promotes the presentation of the second phase of this platform. The event will take place at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, on Tuesday, 2nd of June 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

AYRA is an innovative platform for environmental monitoring of paediatric patients at home. It responds to the growing commitment to home hospitalization for children with acute illnesses. Its aim is to monitor the quality of the air in homes and offer reliable and real-time data to both health professionals and families. The data collected will enable the study of different factors (temperature, humidity, pollutants and particles) in order to anticipate episodes of risk and better prevent this population in the future.

This event will serve to present the second phase of the project as well as review the progress of the first phase. The main objectives of phase 2 are:

• Mobile application for patients and families to visualise real-time data

• Expanded case study of patients with chronic respiratory conditions

• Development of artificial intelligence models correlating environmental data with clinical indicators

• Obtaining applicable environmental impact indices

During the event, we will also meet the members of the consortium:

• Kid's Cluster, an organisation representing the children's and family sector, offering a shared space for collaboration to strengthen the sector's competitive position.

• Catalonia.health, an organisation representing companies and institutions in the health and life sciences sector in Catalonia.

• Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, a specialist paediatric hospital.

• Domestic Data Streamers, experts in data visualisation and interactive storytelling.

• PUMBA, a design studio specialising in user experience and digital products.

• The Left Bit, with extensive experience in mobile application development, back-end solutions and AI.

At the end of the session there will be an open Q&A for the public.
