A new edition of the Healthcare Connection is coming. Next June 18, Catalonia.health is organizing, in collaboration with IDIAP Jordi Gol, the Healthcare Connection – Primary Care Edition. The Healthcare Connection are conferences that facilitate knowledge of the collaboration models and lines of clinical development of the main health centers and institutions in Catalonia, enhancing relations between the health system and the company.

In this edition, which will take place in the corporate building of the Catalan Health Institute (ICS Corporate Building, Gran Via 587), the focus will be on unsolved clinical challenges in the field of primary care. 

A new stage: from Hospital Connection to Healthcare Connection

With this new edition we are inaugurating a name change: we are changing from Hospital Connection to Healthcare Connection. This change is not only in form, but in look. Until now, the series had focused on the clinical needs of the large hospitals in Catalonia. From now on, we want to expand the scope to include other key players in the health system, such as primary care, convinced that their integrated care has an impact on the entire care cycle, not just the hospital environment.

The dynamic, however, will be exactly the same: experts from the collaborating center will present real and unsolved clinical challenges, and attending companies and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to connect with them and explore possible collaborations. The direct, practical and action-oriented format that has characterized the previous sessions remains the heart of the activity. 

About the IDIAP Jordi Gol

IDIAP Jordi Gol is the reference center for research and innovation in primary and community care in Catalonia. With a consolidated track record in the generation of applied knowledge, the IDIAP promotes solutions focused on the real needs of patients and primary care professionals, working in close collaboration with the public health system. The center is committed to a participative innovation model, oriented towards clinical and social impact, and aligned with the major challenges of family medicine, chronicity and community health.

6 unsolved clinical challenges in the field of primary care out of 13 challenges collected will be presented during the event, opening the door to collaboration with companies and entrepreneurs who can provide innovative solutions. You can consult them here.
