Strategic focal points

CATALONIA.HEALTH follows the strategic plan drawn up for three years (2024-2026) in order to contribute to the competitiveness of companies driving the generation of new healthcare solutions, as an association that brings together the entire healthcare value chain in Catalonia.

The plan's actions revolve around three axes:


Fostering a health ecosystem

Social capital is the hidden value within our network, as an investment for success. Understanding and analysing our community, market and ecosystem to raise shared values, needs and resources will allow us to work together to effectively achieve a common purpose and maximize impact.

Actions:

  • Consolidate a business intelligence strategy, based on knowledge of the CATALONIA.HEALTH community, the promotion of reports and studies, and the connection of ecosystems.
  • Encourage networking and joint learning, through internal committees and a social network with common work spaces.
  • To continue to build the social capital of CATALONIA.HEALTH on the solid base of being the meeting point of the community in Catalonia.

Promoting competitiveness through innovation

Innovation as a way to promote competitivity within our associates, focusing our efforts on valuable actions that differentiate us, as a competitive advantage. Contributing to scale economies, diversification, fostering technological shift and addressing strategic challenges.

Actions:

  • Create and set up spaces to share challenges in health innovation, close to challenges in industry and infrastructures.
  • Expand access to competitive funding for innovation programmes at national and international level.
  • Develop training initiatives in the field of shared value for companies.
  • Create links with infrastructures that support the needs of the sector to improve the quality of the Catalan business health ecosystem.

Being the sector's voice

With a mid- and long-term view on improving policy dialogues with the public administration and stakeholders. Exploring opportunities to engender business policy that address resource targeting, industrial transformation, economic traction of the value chain, efficiency and subsidiarity as an externalization of policies within the cluster.

Actions:

  • Participate in working groups, advisory committees and sectoral forums that establish dialogues with the public administration.
  • Develop spaces for competitive dialogue and opinion with CATALONIA.HEALTH members, the sector and public opinion.
  • To develop synergies with stakeholders to improve collaboration, information exchange and mutual support within the health sector.
  • Establish an Advisory Board to monitor strategic objectives.
