Closing of the second edition of the Fast-Track Program at Barcelona-Catalunya

The 2nd edition of the Fast-Track Program aims to offer tailored support to 20 selected Advanced Therapies companies wanting a better understanding of the current opportunities, potential collaborations, and public funding options available in Barcelona/Catalonia.

CataloniaBio & HealthTech took part in the initiative as a participant in the programme's discussion areas, specifically in the session focused on regulatory issues, market access, funding, and talent. CataloniaBio & HealthTech member companies and institutions also participated, including Grifols, SpliceBio, invivo capital, the Blood and Tissue Bank, Leitat, IBEC, Vall d'Hebron and Creatio (UB).

Through the programme, participating companies have been offered high-value connections, contact with key leaders in the health sector in Catalonia, potential influential partners in innovation in the region, an exceptional talent pool, and funding opportunities to support companies in their pioneering projects.

The programme is part of the Catalonia's‘ Health 2030' project that aims to mobilize €2 billion to scale up its Life Sciences ecosystem in the region and transform its national health system. A central feature of this strategy is the planned National Center of Advanced Therapies in Barcelona, which will connect industry and innovative advanced therapies firms.
