SMARTDIABETES, the consortium led by the start-up SocialDiabetes, a member of CATALONIA.HEALTH, will receive 1.15 million in funding by the end of 2025 from EIT Health.
This funding will allow SocialDiabetes to carry out a comprehensive diabetes management program, combining its digital therapy platform. It is a value-based public procurement model for payers, with adoption strategies that will facilitate implementation in the health systems that incorporate it.
The SMARTDIABETES project consortium, made up of industry leaders, aims to demonstrate the economic impact of the model to facilitate the establishment of cost-effective prices and define value-based purchasing models for European governments.
