This August the new government of the Generalitat of Catalonia has been appointed. Two of the new government’s departments will be led by members of CATALONIA.HEALTH. They are Dr. Núria Montserrat, principal investigator and deputy director of translation at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), and Dr. Olga Pané, former manager at Hospital del Mar.   

Núria Montserrat, known internationally for her pioneering work in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and a key figure, will lead the Department of Research and Universities in the Government. An appointment with which his scientific career and his commitment to research and innovation are recognized. 

Olga Pané doctor and specialist in Work Medicine, with a master's degree in health services management and a diploma from ESADE in hospital and health management, will be the new Minister of Health.
