Catalonia.Health welcomes Marta Herrera as Head of Communications for the organisation. With this addition, we are strengthening our commitment to strategic communication in order to amplify the visibility and projection of the association's leadership, equipping ourselves with the capabilities to empower our community and ensure the impact of the valuable actions we generate together.
Herrera has a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Pompeu Fabra University and a Master's degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from the UPF Barcelona School of Management.
With more than 13 years of experience in corporate communication and scientific dissemination in the health sector, Herrera has developed her professional career in leading organisations such as the Eugin Group, where she held the position of Director of Communication and Marketing, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing communication strategies for research projects for international conferences and specialised media. Her expertise includes digital content management, media relations and the conceptualisation of innovative awareness campaigns.
In addition to her professional experience, Herrera has participated as a speaker in master's programmes at Pompeu Fabra University BSM, sharing her vision on the organisation of corporate communication departments and the dissemination of scientific and medical information.

As Head of Communications, Herrera will lead the association's global communication strategy, coordinating its presence in the media, social networks and events, as well as communication with the more than 240 members that make up the organisation.
With this appointment, Catalonia.health reinforces its commitment to strategic communication that highlights innovation, research and public-private collaboration as drivers of transformation in health.
