A personalised MWC for CataloniaBio & HealthTech companies

The 2022 edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is beginning to pick up the pre-pandemic pace. Still with the mask as a constant reminder, this year's edition of the MWC has closed its doors with more than 60,000 attendees from nearly 200 different countries, figures that have exceeded the organization's initial scenario.

CataloniaBio & HealthTech companies and startups have been able to visit the MWC in a personalized way, with a tailor-made health tour, in which a selection of the most innovative experiences and technologies in the sector at the international level has been presented. Partners have been able to learn first-hand about innovations related to telemedicine, IoT, and artificial intelligence applied to drug discovery. The companies were able to enjoy the ticket to the congress, the tailor-made tour and the access to partnering. It has been possible thanks to the collaboration between CataloniaBio & HealthTech with ACCIÓ and GSMA, which was also offered to companies in the Mental Health Cluster.

CataloniaBio & HealthTech members have also been present, mainly in the 4YFN pavilion, the space where the various actors in the start-up ecosystem connect. Many member companies of CataloniaBio & HealthTech have presented their projects, at least twenty of them have been present in the booths and in the various pitch sessions organized in the pavilion.

4YFN award 2022 for HumanITcare

HumanITcare, members of CataloniaBio & HealthTech, are the winners of this year’s 4YFN Awards, the global start-up competition looking for the best digital emerging company around the world. This is the highest official recognition that start-ups can receive exclusively during MWC Barcelona. Following the pitch on the 4YFN main stage, HumanITcare was chosen by the jury from among the five finalists chosen by an international panel of industry experts and investors.
