WIVI Vision, a CataloniaBio & HealthTech  member, signed an agreement with Federópticos to start a first phase of  implementation of their technology. The Federópticos’ opticians could offer new solutions in visual health to their patients.

The alliance between WIVI and Federópticos will allow the chain to offer an early detection and treatment service in a context in which there has been a significant increase in pathologies derived from visual dysfunctions.

Federópticos has more than 190 centers throughout Spain dedicated to visual and hearing health care and it’s considered the second biggest cooperative in the optical sector in Spain dedicated to distribution and the fourth company in the sector in the country. Eduardo Ladrón de Guevara, President of the Federópticos, says that: “the incorporation of new diagnostic and treatment technologies such as WIVI Vision help to reinforce our value  proposition and differentiate us from other options on the market”.

According to Eva García Ramos, CEO and Co-Founder of WIVI Vision, this agreement: “allows  us to continue advancing in the expansion of our solution to give added value  to the vision specialist.
