Participation of CATALONIA.HEALTH at 4YFN, showcasing innovation in the health sector

Roser Montserrat,

The health sector plays a key role in the digital world we live in. That is why digital health has had an important place at the 2025 edition of 4YFN, the event parallel to the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is a benchmark for the international entrepreneurial ecosystem, and that is why CATALONIA.HEALTH was there to showcase examples of the best local medical device technologies. CATALONIA.HEALTH successfully met a new challenge, as it participated in this event for the first time.

Through a collaboration agreement between CATALONIA.HEALTH and 4YFN, we showcased an example of the best local medical device technologies. The aim was to generate an immersive experience where visitors could step into the future of healthcare; the result has been a representation of the hospital of the future, a healthcare environment with a total of 8 companies selected from the open call made to the members: the diagnostic area (with Qrem, Perdigó and Kriba), the hospital area (with Neuroelectrics, Bettercare and Mycaretech), and a space for virtual reality technologies (with VRAIn and WIVI vision).

With a blend of interactive experiences and real-time demonstrations, CATALONIA.HEALTH highlighted how digital solutions, including AI-powered diagnostics, wearable health monitoring devices, and advanced telemedicine systems, are enhancing the patient experience, improving outcomes, and increasing accessibility to medical services. The immersive environment allowed attendees to step into the future of healthcare, where technology and innovation are seamlessly integrated into everyday medical practices.

At its core, CATALONIA.HEALTH’s participation at 4YFN underscored the critical role the health sector plays in today’s digitalized world. The event also served as a hub for networking, where healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and tech developers could exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration.

125 tickets for members and an exclusive tech tour

As part of its strategic collaboration with the 4YFN organisers, the association has also been able to provide members with free tickets to attend the Mobile World Congress 2025. A total of 125 people from companies and institutions in the CATALONIA.HEALTH community were able to attend.

Also, for the fourth consecutive year, in order to facilitate the access of companies to large corporations and encourage contacts, CATALONIA.HEALTH has promoted a Tech Tour. Exclusively for members, the following companies were visited: 10minds (AI Motion Pillow), Onsodtdigm (On-demand customised healthcare solutions), Xpanceo (Smart Contact Lens), and the CATALONIA.HEALTH stand.
