CATALONIA.HEALTH collaborates with a new edition of DCA matchmaking to solve challenges in the health sector

Roser Montserrat,

The Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA) has held a new edition of matchmaking, the DCA's service for generating connections between alliance members and organisations seeking new technological solutions. This last edition of the event once again counted on the collaboration of CATALONIA.HEALTH, as well as the Fundació Tic Salut Social, in order to boost the participation of the health sector and to detect new challenges and facilitate connections with DCA companies.

This edition of the matchmaking, dedicated to the health sector, was held on Thursday 5 December 2024 with an online meeting with the participation of 15 DCA members from the IoT, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence communities. In total, 25 technological solutions have been presented to the 8 challenges proposed by entities of the health sector such as Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Institute for Research and Innovation Parc Taulí (I3PT), Cooperativa Suara and Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu.

On this occasion, the solutions presented seek to improve patient diagnosis and treatment, strengthen hospital cybersecurity, improve student performance and improve personal care.

Over the next few weeks, the selected companies will meet with the entities and organisations driving the challenges to study the viability of the solutions presented and put them into practice.
