The transition to a more sustainable future is a more than evident need, especially in key sectors such as health. In this second webinar organised jointly by the Bioenergy Cluster of Catalonia and CataloniaBio & HealthTech, we will focus on the vital role that the use of biomass plays in the decarbonisation of the health sector. We will examine the latest innovations, strategies and challenges in this area, and explore how biomass can be an effective solution for reducing carbon emissions and promoting greener practices in health centres and hospitals and production plants.

Three organisations with proven expertise in the use of biomass in different fields will participate in the webinar:

• ISVED Bioenergia, are specialists in biomass’ heating, stoves, boilers... They have more than 20 years of experience distributing biomass heating equipment (pellets, wood, stella, etc). They carry out the whole installation process from plans, hydraulic schemes, maintenance, and repairs.
• WT Energy. Waste to Energy Advanced Solutions is a company that was founded in 2017. WTEnergy develops a unique cleantech technology, with a know-how and projects at the forefront, difficult to find in the waste gasification and valorisation sector.
• Termosun offer energy solutions thanks to a wide range of biomass boilers. Termosun has almost 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector with a solid growth that allows them to guarantee the viability of projects before, during and after their execution.
