CataloniaBio & HealthTech organises the webinar GO International: Canada, to connect with the Life Sciences and Health sector in Canada.
This session will address key issues for healthcare companies interested in learning more about the sector in Canada. With a strong biopharmaceutical industry, internationally leading universities, research institutes, hospitals, clusters and networks in the sector, Canada is the 9th largest pharmaceutical market worldwide and the 8th largest market for medical devices and medical technology. Canada ranks in the top five countries worldwide for the reputation and quality of the clinical trials and biomedical sector. Incentive programmes and initiatives at the national level encourage continued growth in innovation and research, attracting companies and scientists from around the world.
The session will be given by Aurora Polo, Commercial Attaché at the Canadian Consulate in Barcelona, responsible for the Life Sciences and Health sector and leader of the European sector team of Global Affairs Canada. She is an economist and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom. She has held various positions in the field of international markets, marketing, sales, export and finance for companies in both Spain and the UK.
