Farmaindustria, the consultancy Hiris and the Junta de Extremadura are hosting the conference Health + Innovation: a binomial for post-Covid Spain on 25 September, online (it will be streamed live from the Jesus Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre in Caceres).

The event aims to encourage a reflection on the future of the health sector based on the experience gleaned from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Welcome by Martín Sellés, president of Farmaindustria, accompanied by state authorities.

The programme includes high level lectures, such Health, a strategic sector for Spain by Antón Costas, professor of Economic Policy at the University of Barcelona, and Innovation and research, levers for progress for the National Health System by Joan Comella, director of the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) in Barcelona and a CataloniaBio & HealthTech board members.

Minister of Health, Salvador Illa will close the event.
