CATALONIA.HEALTH is organising the Unconference, the annual event for debate and dialogue on the future of health solutions, which aims to promote awareness, perspective, and vision of the sector's needs and opportunities, as well as the best way to tackle them. This year's event will be held on 11 November at Tech City Pier 07, and it will be focused on how to achieve personalized, participative, predictive, preventive, and population-based healthcare (5Ps).

In 2025, the UnConference will be part of the European project meeting RISEMED4EU (Regional Innovation for Smart Ecosystems in Health and Medicine in the EU), an initiative cofounded by Interreg Europe. The project promotes collaboration and the exchange of best practices between public, business and academic actors to drive smart ecosystems for healthcare innovation, working on the development and transfer of advanced technologies in healthcare. The UnConference will provide a space to discuss how to make 5P medicine a reality through the implementation of technologies and connections between stakeholders and ecosystems.

Personalised and precision medicine

Personalised and precision medicine is transforming healthcare, from a one-size-fits-all approach to boutique treatments. Yet despite remarkable scientific advances, the translation from laboratory breakthroughs to routine clinical practice remains slow. On the UnConference 2025, we will discuss how to learn from successful cases and what is required to accelerate the journey toward making medicine not only more precise, but predictive, preventive, population-based and more participative for patients worldwide, in an equitable fashion.
