Over the past few months, the Spanish biotech sector has featured large rounds of investment. Cases such as Sanifit, Minoryx Therapeutics (member of CataloniaBio), and Aelix place Spain at the forefront of European biotech. Are these isolated cases? Is Spain positioning itself as a strong player in this field? Which sub-sectors are emerging? What value do VCs provide for these companies?
Five of the major European venture capital firms (Gilde Healthcare Partners, Forbion Capital Partners, Sofinnova Partners, Ysios Capital and Edmond de Rothschild) will respond to these questions and will reveal the forecasts and current trends in this field.
