The Spanish Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (ASCRI) is going to celebrate its eighteenth congress in Barcelona, under the title The private capital in a global changing environment (El capital privado en un entorno mundial cambiante). The event will present the evolution of the private capital 2016-2017 by the president of ASCRI, Juan Luis Ramírez. There will also be a round table of Private Equity Oportunities (Oportunidades del Private Equity), where there will take part Jordi Carrera, CEO of STAT Diagnostica (company that has recently recieved CataloniaBio's Bioèxit Award) among other participants.

ASCRI consists of 200 entities of private capital (Venture Capital & Private Equity) in Spain, which manage 25.000 milion €. There take part 2.750 companies, 90% of them are pimes. Their aim is to get a broader base of investors and continue presenting funding opportunities that offer Spanish businessmen and entrepreneurs.
